DC, Anyone?

For the last three days, the weather here has been a trifecta of suck -- cold, rainy, and windy. Weather.com swears it's been in the 50s, but it feels worse than that to me -- no doubt because of the added wet and wind. I am not well pleased, and I've slipped back into my slug-like ways. At least it's suppoed to be a bit warmer tomorrow.

AND! It's supposed to be wonderful for the DC Slash/Fangirls Retreat at venturous's place this weekend! They're promising us sunny and 70 degrees. It'll be cooler at night, of course, which is perfect since there's talk of a bonfire.

It's going to be great fun, but we're down in numbers due to a few people not being able to make it, and I wish we had a couple more on board. Anyone who's near the DC area or who can get there relatively easily want to come hang out with us this weekend? Day-trippers welcome if you can't commit to an entire weekend! Transportation from train stations and such can be arranged! There will be great people, great food, great conversation. Anyone?!
