Update of Geekery
Feb. 23rd, 2011 08:32 pmI've actually been Doing Things over the last few days! Not a great many things, but enough to justify an update, I think.
- I got the last of my fics uploaded at my AO3 account. Whew! It's all there now. Well, everything that's more than a drabble/ficlet and for which I'm willing to take the blame. ;)
- I figured out transportation and bought my plane tickets for![[info]](https://stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif)
aeternitas2011! Who else is going? When are you arriving? Is anyone arranging any sort of meetups yet?
- I've done a ton of mod work over on![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
daily_deviant. Things are nearly caught up there, so I'll switch over and take care of a couple of things at ![[info]](https://p.dreamwidth.org/c0b679d12b01/248213-24764/www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif)
hp_wankfest soon. It feels good to be getting on top of that, at least.
Some other stuff.
- I want to say thank you to the people who said lovely things about me over on the H/D fandom anon love meme. I didn't expect my name to appear there at all since I don't seem to run in the H/D circles much, so huge thanks to those who thought of me. ♥
- Results went up a little while ago, and I seem to have won the third week in a row at the Snupin LDWS. I am extremely flattered and... more than a little embarrassed. I'm sure the other participants are getting out the tar and feathers as I type! D:
- As a reminder, you all still have 23 hours to read and vote at the H/D LDWS. Week 7, OMG!
And some writing blather.
It's odd. I actually feel like writing, but don't have anything specific that I absolutely need to write tonight. I'm caught up with LDWS things for the moment. And I'm holding off on writing more of the collab fic while I allow the poor, beleaguered artist a chance to catch up a bit.
I'll be getting started on May'sdaily_deviant fic (which is for ![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
red_day_dawning, who won my smutty services in thepurpledove) soon. I already have the basic idea swimming around my head. But there's still loads of time to work on it, and I expect I'll have it done well before the actual posting date.
I plan to start working on one of the longer fics I want to write in the near future. Just as soon as I decide which one. It'll most likely be the long Snarry fic I've wanted to write since 2007(!). But... I've really been feeling the Snack lately, and I'm very tempted by a longish Snack idea. Any preferences? ;)
