Apr. 3rd, 2011 09:52 pmMy various con plans are beginning to come together, so I thought I'd see what everyone else is going to be doing... and what they'd like to be doing.
As far as I know, there are no particular meet-ups being planned for Aeternitas. The general thinking seems to be that, since we have the entire place to ourselves, we'll have no problem finding each other and snagging places to gather. This is totally true, and also awesome. It's occurred to me, though, that a few people might be interested in some scheduled gatherings anyway, because (a) it would be a good way to meet people and put names to faces -- especially for those who are a bit on the shy side and might not feel entirely comfortable walking up to people and asking who the hell they are, and (b) it's just fun to get together with other people to squee over favorite pairings or other common interests. So if you want scheduled events, speak up.
Also! I need to figure out exactly what the heck I'm doing with myself after DiaCon Alley. Since I'm paying the insane airfare to get over there, I'd like to spend a couple of extra days in the UK or perhaps elsewhere in Europe before heading home. So if anyone wants to do something and has any ideas, let me know!
