Pet Update (and a Couple of Other Things)

First off, a much belated THANK YOU to albalark, acatnamedeaster, tripperfunster, sinick, and EVERYONE who helped out with the initial Pansy expenses! Thanks to you all, the Slytherin Princess got a good supply of healthy kitten food, quite a bit of litter, some treats, a tube of hairball remedy, and an obscene amount of toys. She's a happy kitteh who continues to own the apartment and boss the dog around.

I'm now working on getting both her and Ari some overdue vet appointments. Pansy needs to start her vaccinations, Ari's late for her annual ones, and of course Pansy needs to have her internal girly parts removed ASAP. I've found out that I can do all of that though PAWS for considerably less than it would normally cost, so thank goodness for that.

(And if you want to help out with keeping the kids healthy and get something out of it for yourself, remember I'm making/selling new/more stuff.)

It's hard to get Pansy to hold still long enough to take good pictures of her, but I'll see what I can do about getting and posting some soon. You all have sort of adopted her as your godkitten, so you deserve pics!


In other news... I'm looking forward to going to venturous's place for this year's Fangirls' Fall Retreat! (Ari would be excited too if she had any idea what I was telling her.) So many awesome people going who I see far too seldom, and Ari's going to have loads of fun romping around with the other dogs again. ::squee::

I've spent the last couple of days trying to take care of as much "real life" stuff as I can so that it's all done and out of the way before the weekend. Bryn Mawr things are looking good; I have about 70% of my week's grading done, and the next lab worksheet just needs a bit of sprucing up. Other than that, it's mostly handling some emails and cleaning.

..And I desperately need to get on top of fic obligations, but we won't discuss that at the moment. o_O
