Details, Details...

Well, it looks like more folks are still hanging around fandom on LJ/IJ/DW than I feared! Maybe I'm not too late to get back into things at least a bit, eh??

So, as I suggested in that earlier post, I'm thinking about putting together a little "fandom revival" comm where interested parties can be fannish together. Just a centralized gathering place where a few active (or at least semi-active or want-to-be-active) folks can interact a bit. At minimum, there can be weekly "check-in" posts, and I have a few ideas for other simple activities and discussions here and there. Anything that gets people talking and doing and sharing together in a group is good.

The question is, where should I host it?

Since I don't have a paid account on DW and can't post polls here... Please provide your input in the poll on either LiveJournal or InsaneJournal. (Or at least drop your answers in the comments here.)

I'll also definitely be starting up a chat or two. Since Discord keeps coming up in discussion and seem to be the Thing to Use these days, I'm leaning toward going with that. But if anyone has objections to Discord or has alternate suggestions, do let me know!

Actually, there's a poll question about that also.

(On a related note... Did anyone else get a huge, nostalgic sad over the announcement a while back that Yahoo! Messenger was going away? Or was that just me?)
