Fandom Snowflake Challenge: Day 2

Day 2:

Rec at least three fanworks that you didn’t create.

This is actually a bit more difficult than it ought to be, thanks to how out of touch I've been. My first instinct is to rec some old faves from way back... but the point of all of this is for me to get back into the swing of things now, so delving into the past would kind of be counter to the purpose. I have managed to stumble across a couple of great things just in the past week or two, so I'll go with those...

The first two are both pieces of art that I discovered while doing some general maintenance on daily_deviant that I somehow missed when they were originally posted. They're both right up my alley and did a good job of reminding me of exactly why I love the hell out of this fandom. (Well, the pervy end of it, at any rate!)

Hoooooooly GUH. I had to scrape my jaw off the floor after I saw this one. It just hit so damn many of my bulletproof kink and fandom glee buttons. Wanking. Snape wanking. Teenage Snape wanking. Scrawny, stringy-haired, all sharp points and awkward angles, teenage Snape wanking...! *head explodes* What sends it into super dirrrrty territory, though, is the perspective. Slughorn is spying from the doorway, yes, but it feels like we're spying too, from somewhere deeper within the store room. It's just so wrong in all the right ways.

Nnnnngh, YES! This piece is just so damned intimate and intense. It perfectly conveys the sort of frantic, lust-fueled, full-speed-ahead-and-damn-the-consequences madness that pushes all my buttons with this pairing. The setting and the precise moment captured -- the lightening strike in the dark room -- is what really cranks the intensity level up to eleven. So freakin' prefect.
