Still Not Dead

Continued apologies for my absence. Annoying, unfun "real life" stuff has been keeping me occupied. Primarily job hunting. I do have the teaching gig for this coming semester, but it doesn't pay terribly well, so I'm going to need another job to make ends meet -- not to mention pay off some hideous debt. And finding said other job needs to happen ASAP, since I don't currently know where my September rent is coming from. Eep!
I've been looking at places within my neighborhood to which I could potentially walk -- coffee shops, cafes, that sort of thing. Small, independent business rather than chain/corporate stuff for once. Something along those lines would be much lower stress and less energy-draining than having to take a bus into Center City or some such. I have a couple of good applications in (including one I just dropped off today), so I'm hoping I'll snag something soon. ::fingers crossed::

Well, after going to the post office and picking up the job application, then coming home and putting together said job application, then going back out to drop off the application, then returning home again... I'm tired! So the next thing on my agenda is a nap.
